D1 – Arrival in Crete

Departure from your region in the late afternoon, arrival at the airport and flight to Heraklion. Arrival in Crete. Meeting with your local driver and transfer to your hotel. Check in to your 4* hotel in the Chania area. Overnight.

D2 – Discovering the island

Breakfast. This morning, you could explore the Cape of Chania and visit the monastery of Tsagkarolon, where the monks produce unique varieties of wine, olive and honey ? You could take the opportunity to go to Seitan Limania, a beautiful secret beach to swim and relax in the sun. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, you could return to Chania to discover the many outstanding Byzantine, Venetian or Ottoman monuments. The Nautical Museum, the Archaeological Museum, the House of El Venizelos and the War Museum are also not to be missed ! Return to your hotel. Dinner at leisure or at the restaurant. Overnight.

D3 – An island rich in assets 

Breakfast. In the morning, you could take the opportunity to discover the beach of Falassarna (Falasarna), one of the most famous beaches in Crete. With its turquoise waters and white sand, it extends over a long stretch of coastline. You could use this day to explore the different corners of the beach. Lunch at leisure. Then this afternoon you could go for a nice walk in the botanical park on your own. Return to your hotel. Dinner at leisure or in a restaurant. Overnight.

D4 – Cretan traditions and local flavours 

Breakfast. Today you could spend the day with a local English speaking guide to explore the real Crete. In the heart of Mylopotamos you will visit authentic places, participate in honey extraction and have lunch with a shepherd in his home in the mountains. Return to your hotel. Dinner on your own or in a restaurant. Overnight.

D5 – Succumb to the charms of the “Island of the Gods

Breakfast. This morning you could visit two of the most famous beaches of Crete: Preveli and Skinaria. The former is considered a paradise on earth as it combines a river, a palm grove, a beautiful beach and a small monastery. Lunch of local specialties. The beach of Skinaria is located 33 km south of Rethymno, a small beach with grey-beige sand and crystal clear waters. You can stop at the picturesque village of Spili to have a coffee and enjoy the incredible scenery. Return to your hotel at the end of the day. Dinner on your own or in a restaurant. Overnight.

D6 – An undeniable cultural heritage

Breakfast. In the morning, you will leave for a day in the surrounding mountains. First stop at the village of Margarites where you will have the opportunity to attend a small pottery demonstration. Lunch at the restaurant. You will continue to the monastery of Arkadi. Then you could enjoy a historical and gastronomic guided tour through the narrow streets of the old town of Rethymnon while tasting some local specialties in wonderful places. Return to your hotel. Dinner on your own or in a restaurant. Overnight.

D7 – Crete offers its riches with generosity

Breakfast. Today may be an opportunity to go to the extreme northwest of the Gramvoussa peninsula, where you will find one of the most beautiful sites in Crete: Balos. It is here that a shallow enclosed lagoon is separated from the sea by a strip of sand. The whiteness of the sand and the depth of the sea give this environment amazing colours, unique in Greece! Let yourself be transported into Greek culture ! A site to be preserved absolutely ! Lunch at leisure. Return to your hotel. Dinner at leisure or at the restaurant. Overnight.

D8 – Last discoveries  

Breakfast. The day will be free for your last purchases and personal discoveries. Lunch at leisure. Meeting with your local driver and transfer to Heraklion airport. Flight to your destination. Arrival in your region. End of our services.
